Last year Vectos merged with SLR, a global environmental and advisory solutions business.
The decision to join forces was driven by a shared culture of focusing on our client relationships, a commitment to our communities, and collaboration with our industry partners.
Why we merged?
Why we joined forces with SLR?
At a time when clients and markets are responding at an unprecedented pace to the climate emergency and the accompanying need for sustainable development, this partnership allows us to strengthen links between areas such as mobility, air quality, flood risk, wellbeing and health; and offer more complete and integrated planning services.
Transport planning and infrastructure services were already part of SLR’s client offer, but they were looking to strengthen both areas significantly. They saw Vectos as the perfect partner to bolster this expertise by adding our research capabilities and expert knowledge to offer a more complete and innovative service.
In addition, our microsimulation modelling and future mobility research and demonstration businesses are new services for SLR. We are excited about plans to combine our modelling expertise with SLR’s specialist air quality, acoustics and carbon management services to develop new pioneering modelling tools to bring forward more schemes more sustainably.
For the future, Vectos’ vision remains unchanged. We will design, plan and model smart, integrated, multi-modal, low carbon transportation solutions. SLR shares this vision to lead the way in mobility and infrastructure solutions and deliver a valuable and lasting contribution to society through the creation of healthy, sustainable and resilient places.
SLR also shares our ethos of delivering sustainable solutions to projects of all scales and impacts, so we will continue to serve all our clients, both large and small.
