Chris is a founding Director of Vectos based in the Manchester office with more than 26 years’ experience in development transport planning and a passion for assisting clients achieve their development ambitions.
Chris advises clients across all land uses and at all stages of the development process from feasibility, masterplanning, land use allocation, planning application, through to delivery on site. His key strengths lie in producing viable and deliverable transport solutions for the most challenging of development projects, for which he has great understanding of the political as well as the technical processes.
He also has extensive experience as an expert witness at Public Inquiry, including giving evidence on high profile schemes.
Chris has a BEng (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Bradford and a MSc in Transport from Imperial College, London.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys scuba diving at destinations around the world, with the highlight being diving under icebergs, with seals, penguins and humpback whales in Antarctica. More recently he has given up his tank for skis, as this is easier to do with his family, who he likes to spend most of his spare time with. Indeed, outside of work he continues his transport interest as Dad’s Taxi!
