David is a Transport Planner with six years’ experience in transport planning, having been involved in the preparation of Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and Site Access Appraisals for a wide range of developments. David has also produced Construction Traffic Management Plans, Servicing Strategies, Car Park Studies and Transport Masterplans as part of multidisciplinary teams. David’s skills include the use of traffic modelling software as JUNCTIONS and LinSig, GIS programs as TRACC and pedestrian and cycle audit tools such as StreetAudit and Streets for People. He also consults TRICS and ONS Census databases for building transport forecasting models and has worked on the preparation of travel surveys for different members of the public.
David left Spain in 2013 after finishing a BSc in Geography and Land Planning at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and moved to the United Kingdom, where he completed an MSc in Transport Planning at the University of Leeds.
Outside of work, David enjoys travelling as much as possible, cooking, socialising with friends, going to the local cinemas, visiting theatres and exhibitions, cycling across Yorkshire towpaths and supporting Real Madrid football and basketball teams.
