James is a founding Director of Vectos Microsim. He has extensive experience in the development and application of microsimulation models for a variety of uses, ranging from single junction models to strategic level microsimulation models as well as advising on other modelling approaches, including strategic modelling.
James provides specialist advice to both public and private sector clients in the scoping and application of transport modelling to support a multitude of purposes including Local Plans and Strategic Sites, which often involves attendance at examinations and appeals.
His key strengths lie in his ability to simplify the modelling process, making it easier for non-technical stakeholders to understand and engage in the process. Clients also benefit from his comprehensive understanding of the context in which modelling work sits and his ability to draw out the salient points.
Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his two young children and an occasional game of golf.
