Project overview
Vectos was appointed by Henley Investment Management to provide transport advice and support to a number of land parcels within the wider Ebbsfleet Garden City. The garden city will provide 15,000 new homes and 32,000 new jobs by 2035, and residents will benefit from a range of sustainable and accessible modes of travel including public transport, walking, cycling, car clubs and bike share. With the International Railway Station at its heart, Ebbsfleet is also connected to London Kings Cross/St Pancras, Paris and Brussels with frequent high-speed trains.
Our Approach
Vectos assisted with Reserved Matters Applications and the discharge of existing Planning Conditions. On a wider scale, Vectos is providing input into the Car Club Strategy for the whole of Ebbsfleet through consultation with both the Ebbsfleet Development Corporation and Kent County Council (EDC). This includes liaising, and aligning with the future goals for Kent’s new MaaS Strategy. The EDC are keen to promote active modes of travel.
Furthermore, Vectos is working on the development of a Parking Management Plan which will form part of the planning policy considerations for future developments in the City.
