Project overview
We supported Telford Homes with its planning application for a site on International Way in Stratford, adjacent to Westfield shopping centre. Planning consent was granted in August 2020.
The development includes 380 new homes, made up of 247 build to rent apartments and 133 affordable homes, alongside office and commercial space. There will also be an extensive communal amenity space including a resident’s lounge, terrace and gym.
Our approach
This is a highly constrained site within the London Borough of Newham and therefore needed a detailed public transport impact analysis. The resulting transport strategy applies the new TfL healthy streets transport assessment guidance and includes solutions for highways design, transport mitigation and compliance with current transport policy.
