Vectos + SLR Cardiff charity quiz raises £7,000 for bigmoose Project 1 Million

Almost 100 property industry guests gathered at our event last night to test their knowledge, network with industry peers and most importantly raise money for our wonderful charity bigmoose.

We’re excited to announce that we met the £7,000 target, which forms part of our overall commitment to raise £25,000 for the bigmoose Project 1 Million this year.

Congratulations to the Team Savills team for winning this year’s coveted title and to Downs Merrifield for coming in just half a point behind.

Congratulations also to Yellow Sub Geo for winning the activity challenge which required teams to use a box of spaghetti and a bag of marshmallows to construct a local Cardiff landmark. The team recreated the Cardiff Bay Barrage and has won half a day of the Cardiff team’s time to donate to a charity of their choice.

Vectos Director Matt Thomas conceived the idea of this event in 2015 to support charities in our local communities.

“We have been blown away by the continued level of enthusiasm and want to thank the companies who supported us as well as the individuals who donated on the night through the raffle and auction – your generosity has been incredible,” he said.

“Many guests have supported us since the first event in 2015; without you all the event could not have been so successful.

“I would also like to thank our fantastic quiz master Ian Southwell.”

bigmoose Co-Founders Jeff and Chloe Smith pass on their thanks to guests.

“Thank you so much for raising a phenomenal amount of money, it will help so many people,” Chloe said.

“If anyone would like to hear more about what we do, would like to work with us on some of our exciting projects coming up or if you have an idea of your own please drop us a message or if you just fancy a coffee and a chat then pop along to our coffee shop, we’d love to see you.

“Our services are open to anyone in need, so if you or you know of anyone seeking help, please do get in touch with us.”
