Vectos’ Cardiff charity quiz raises £7.5k for Guide Dogs & Duchenne UK

More than 110 property industry guests gathered at our event last week to test their knowledge, network with industry peers and most importantly raise money for two wonderful charities: Duchenne UK & Guide Dogs.

Congratulations to the EDP team for winning this years’ coveted title as well as the privilege of naming a pup! After much discussion, they have decided to name the Guide Dog ‘Windsor’ after the late, great Windsor Davies.

We would also like to give an honourable mention to Holder Mathias Architects for winning the plastiscine round with their fantastic, intricate model of the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Castle and Norwegian Church Arts Centre.

We’re excited to announce that we exceeded the £7,000 target and our previous fundraising efforts for the Cardiff charity quiz event, raising £7,500!

Vectos Director Matt Thomas conceived the idea of this event in 2015 to support charities in our local communities.

“We have been blown away by the continued level of enthusiasm and want to thank the companies who supported us as well as the individuals who donated on the night through the raffle – your generosity has been incredible,” he said.

“Many guests have supported us in all four years; without you all the event could not have been so successful.

“I would also like to thank our fantastic quiz masters Cerian Phillips and Ellen Axon.”
