Alex is a Senior International Project Officer based in London. She is a Psychology graduate from Cardiff University.

She leads on the research elements of Vectos’ International and EU-funded projects, principally focusing on the social and psychological aspects of urban mobility and behaviour change. This involves understanding how new innovations are changing our mobility and travel decisions, and how to future-proof within current and new developments.

Her research focuses on innovative solutions to increase sustainable travel behaviour, such as: car sharing / carpooling; MaaS; demographic approaches to understanding likeliness to change behaviour; user acceptance of AV/EV and trust; incentives and gamification to encourage behaviour change; life change moments in breaking travel habits; and the values behind mobility decisions and user needs.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys going to the theatre and comedy as well as exploring new places to eat and drink.
