James joined Vectos in the summer of 2018 and is based in the Cardiff office. His experience includes involvement with a variety of residential, retail, commercial and mixed-use projects, and the consequent production of transport assessments, transport statements and travel plans.
He uses standard modelling software such as PICADY and ARCADY to assess the capacity of existing and proposed junctions, and is also skilled with software such as TRICS, ARCGIS and Illustrator.
James has assisted with the development of strategies for large mixed-use developments for inclusion within local plans, and has good experience of other areas of planning having been involved in several S247 and S257 applications for the stopping up of highways and footpaths.
James has a BSc in Human and Physical Geography from the University of Reading and is working towards his Transport Planning Society PDS qualification. Outside of Vectos, James is a keen cricketer and avid fan of all sports, having been a Cardiff City season ticket holder for over 20 years.
