Phil is an Associate Director based in Manchester. He is a project manager with more than 16 years’ consultancy experience and specialises in providing transport advice and support on a wide range of projects, including infrastructure studies, regeneration strategies, transport assessments and travel plans for the public and private sectors. He has a clear understanding of how transport and land use planning can influence travel behaviour. He provides expertise on transport impacts and infrastructure requirements to support planning applications, future Local Plan development sites, urban masterplanning and regeneration related commissions. To complement Phil’s transport planning experience, he has an appreciation of highway design, flood risk, drainage and environmental issues. Phil has a BA (Hons) degree in Geography from The University of Hull and is also a Member of the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation. Outside of work, Phil likes to socialise and is a keen sportsman enjoying skiing, squash and golf.
